Open PH.D. position – Landform classification on digital terrain models

mntProf. Éric Guilbert is currently seeking a Ph.D. candidate for a new research project that aim to improve landform classification on a digital terrain model. The PhD position is supported by a scholarship of 19000$ per year over three years.

The project will include the design of a conceptual model where landforms are characterised by their salient features and the definition of the logical model allowing for the classification of these features on a digital terrain model. This research will be applied to geomorphological studies of coastal areas of Canada.
