The Centre for Research in Geomatics is one of the Université Laval-accredited research centres. With over 20 regular and associate researchers, it is one of the largest research centres in geomatics in the world.

The CRG is a special place for advanced studies. It is located in the charming and very welcoming Quebec City, on one of the top 10 Canadian university campus, full of academic, sport and social activities.

With three research themes focusing on 1) methods and technologies for measuring spatio-temporal phenomena, 2) information engineering and spatio-temporal knowledge, and 3) the legal aspects of territorial data and societal uses, the CRG researchers hold major research grants in collaboration with industry and government.

You are invited to visit our website for more information about our research areas, our expertise, our publications and research projects and even to come experience the CRG in our laboratories at the Laval University. We will be happy to welcome you.
