Over the last 13 years the researchers of the CRG have successfully assembled a stock of leading edge equipment that is worth over $6 million dollars, placing it among the most significant university collections in the world. From its three geographic axes, the researchers, students, postdoctoral candidates, and the professional researchers have access to the state-of-the-art geomatics technologies. This stock of technologies is composed, among many others, of high precision GPS and GLONASS receivers and antennas, of digital cameras, of telemeters and interferometers, of electronic levels, of spectrometers, of variable resolution spatial and spectral sensors, of calibration systems, and of a vast collection of more than 100 personal computers equipped with specialized software, in addition to the numerous printers, large format colour plotters, high resolution optical scanners, CD burners, technical documents, etc.
